What did you use your SAK for today?

Used the Awl on my farmer x
to enlarge the drain hole on a camping stove container today.
(the plastic case that holds the actual stove).
Great for removing burrs on plastics...

SAKs will always have a place in my heart... even if their steel is a bit on the softer side... they’ll always be utilitarian in my book.

No photos but I used a Huntsman screwdriver to drain some fuel from the carburetor on my generator today. Just wanted to fire it up a bit to run some new fuel through it. Of course I didn’t actually have the Huntsman on me, it was in the console of my truck. Even though I was in the garage, the Huntsman was closer than my tool box and it was all I needed. It would have really helped had it actually been in my pocketo_O

That looks like a few man hours to repair all right :(
It ended up not being as bad as it looks. 2 hours in the workshop and I had the furrower back in action. A three point linkage pin had fallen out and caused the tangle.

Often after I use my SAK I think, "I should've taken a pic" well today I remembered:thumbsup: I use my SAK at work almost daily even with dedicated tools nearby. Just the simple assembly of Sofa's that we rec'd today presented a SAK opportunity. Just threaded legs to screw in but impossible when they shoot a staple into the threaded hole:eek:

So today my small Tinker's can opener/small flat blade allowed me to pry up the staple so I could grab it with my small Knipex pliers so graciously gifted to me from Dan (sonofwilfred) several months back. He also sent several SAK's:cool::cool::cool: Thanks Dan, I use the Knipex often:thumbsup:

Paul, if I had a dollar for every time I used the Small Tinker to fix something in the 31-32 years I’ve owned it.....
