After attending a winter tree Identification seminar I used the saw on my Fieldmaster to cut a small branch off a tree, then used the main blade to split it open so I could examine the pith. I confirmed the tree is a black gum, which has a white, uniquely chambered pith.
Serrated Recruit cut tomatoes for my lunch. Found the blade a bit short and the job was a little messy. I was too hungry to fetch a serrated Spartan or sharpen a kitchen knife!
