  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What did you use your SAK for today?

I went on hike today where the trail was covered in snow and ice. Trail reports as recently as last week said that was not the case, but luckily I checked last night, and I had to order the only pair of spikes that Amazon could get me by morning. QC was iffy on them, so about halfway up one of the links fell out of its spot in the chain, rendering them useless and flopping around. Luckily I was able to fix them with the Swisstool. If it hadn't had it on me it would have been, well, a slippery slope to say the least ;)

Today was planting day. I used my Champion Plus's scissors to trim off dead flowers and leaves and also re-shaped a plant label to make it fit another pot. I also used the ruler/fish scaler as a depth gauge when I was adding new soil to my pots. The blade opened the soil bag for me.
