Tonight I cut off a branch off a walnut tree and sliced it into a wedge to jam in between two steel panels to stop an annoying rattle on my tractor. A good temporary fix.

I feel your pain, I've had to do minor surgery on the cleaner head of our vacuum for the same reason. Don't even get me started on the shower drain

Outrider tasks this weekend sofar.
Saw: sawing toggles and oversized tarp stakes (due snow).
Knife: rounding rough edges from toggles, whittling sharp-ish tips for stakes, opening food packages and cutting bread.
Scissors: few cordage cuts.
Corkscrew: opening few knots.
Cross headed screwdriver: taking out few screws when visiting mom.

I used my Rambler's combo phillips to get into the back of a wrist watch for the battery...

...and then for the hell of it I tested a few other tools on the same screws...

...

...

The Rambler's combo phillips won. It felt the best to use and it performed the best.
