What did you use your SAK for today?

Victorinnox Rambler 58mm

Shrink wrap on milk - every single bloody day, I only get two pints.
Slit packing tape / envelopes.
Split light cardboard for recycling box.

Cut onion nets.
Open paper potato sacks.

Open sandwich packs. Because "EZEE-PEEL" 'ing isn't.
Cut top of Banana. Cut corner of pack of peanuts with scissors,
when I pull the corner off, the whole side of the pack comes away.

Cut baler twine. Which was holding bin from blowing over. Who needs a corkscrew to undo knots?

Trim and file nail I broke trying to undo knot in baler twine.

The classic SD tip was sued to tighten the Phillips screws holding the lock plate on the back door. The blade was sued to open the plastic wrapper of the square of Tillimook cheddar these. Tweezer used to remove part of a thorny burr that I brushed off the dogs paw, and it broke off a piece in my finger. Plucked successfully.

There isn't a day goes by that I don't use the classic at least a few times, for something.

Yesterday arvo after sharpening these two I used Spartan White to slice some extra sharp (and extra hard) cheddar cheese for lunch. Then I remembered my camera. Out of curiosity, I decided to run an admittedly subjective comparison test between the Mora scandi grind and Victorinox flat grind, using a gala apple as the cutting medium.
I had to use a sawing action with the scandi grind to cut the apple where the flat grind sliced the apple with just a push giving Spartan White an edge in the test. Although, the clear winner was me because the apple and cheese was so delicious. :)

Used the bottle opener on the Pioneer to pry out the last frozen bananas off the bottom of the container so i could make a smoothie. Blade cut new bananas.

Also used the Pioneer in conjunction with the MP400 the other day when the coin got stuck in my shopping cart. Got it out no problem 👍

The sak blade is great on apples. Interesting comparison mate 👍🏻🇦🇺🦘
Thanks! IMO the only advantage in food prep a Mora clipper might have over a Spartan is blade length.
Part of the reason Moras excell as a steak and chops knife... just the right length.
Hope you're having a wonderful tomorrow cobber.

edit to ask; You probably get this type of question all the time but I figure it can't hurt to ask
Can you tell me who won today's (American) Superbowl? ;)

There is a guarantee on the Super Bowl, at least one player named Kelce will be hoisting the trophy. With all the brothers that play in the NFL I can’t believe it’s the first time brothers have gone up against each other in the final game of the year.

Remember the brother coaches, the Harbaughs?? went head to head in a superbowl
Yup, should have clarified players that were brothers. I was happy to see the outcome of the two Harbaugh brothers coaching against each other. 😁
