  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What did you use your SAK for today?

Handyman installed the handle on my new saw.

Finally remembered to take pics of, the best use of a SAK... using a Rambler to set a Traveler free.
The Traveler was acquired in anticipation of an upcoming car camping trip. A trip that might competently be served by the Rambler alone. But where's the fun in that? 🤪

Here's the liberated Wenger after making it's escape (with the Rambler's help) from the mailing envelope

Heroic stuff indeed. Even if I do say so myself. 🤪;)

A hydraulic line blew on the bucket truck a few days ago, which necessities pulling the whole bundle of hoses through the boom to replace it. A line tied to the ends helps pulling them back through the boom to the bucket... A perfect task for the parcel hook on the swisschamp.

Cherry picker is one of the terms that slipped my mind. I usually think of those as being on a smaller platform. Our truck weighs 15 ton with the forestry body on it.

And yessir, it's a real pain in the rear end to get the lines threaded back through the boom. No shortage of foul language being used during that process...

Yesterday I needed to get into some locked cabinets at work, and I didn't have the key.

I used a Super Tinker and a paperclip to jimmy the lock, all while humming the Macgyver theme song.

Today I used a SwissChamp I've had for 28 years to uninstall a battery from a server rack UPS.
