Just got the Spartan in wood the other day and now already eyeballing the white! Im fairly new to SAK's in general, but are the white scales more common now? I've read a good deal about how they were rare, but I am seeing them in stock at a lot of places. So maybe now they are part of the regular lineup for certain models?

White Victorinox scales seem to have gained in popularity in recent years. At the time that I purchased Spartan White there was one "large body of water" dealer making them available. Today I counted 15 who were offering them. I'm seldom sure what Vic is doing regarding their various options. Models and colors seem to appear and disappear from their lineup suddenly and without warning. I do like the wood Spartans and you may be fortunate to have one cupton since I just read that certain wood models are now discontinued... ???

I use that tooth pick daily. Usually the tinker in my truck.
I did a dumb thing earlier today and ordered a wood Huntsman. This NEEDS to be the end for a while. That’s 4 SAK’s in about a months time. Time to unplug the internet!

I used the saw on my Huntsman to cut the initial grooves on a vintage KA-BAR 1219c2 I just rebuilt.

I just used my old Huntsman with Nylon scales to open a parcel containing a brand new Huntsman with Nylon scales!
Recently read that the Nylon scales have been discontinued, so grabbed this one while I could, besides you can never have too many.

Shortly after leaving home to run some errands I noticed I had a tiny sliver under a fingernail. It was annoying. I tried several ways to pick it out. Then I tried to ignore it. Finally I remembered Spartan White and it's tweezers was in my pocket. Using them I plucked out the offending sliver with ease and received instant relief. This may have been just a little thing but today I was glad to have those tweezers on hand. .
