What did you use your SAK for today?

Used my Huntsman to open a parcel containing a brand spanking new Wetza-Shag Rider Heritage coat and oilskin lid.

Still can’t figure out the photo upload process, but my huntsman and I tightened some screws on the plastic side trim of the driver seat of my duramax (too lazy to grab a proper screwdriver from the toolbox), pried out some dead batteries from a remote, opened a box or two and replaced a dead fuse in the main fuse box of the house.

Day 1 of going back to an edc SAK instead of a large folder going well

used the wood saw to cut a wooden closet rod to the required length
used the file to clean up the edges around the cut
used the awl to start the screw holes for the closet rod holders
used the tip of the can opener to screw the holders in place
used the awl and can opener to hang an extra mirror in my bathroom

It's nice whenever you can do a job or two without reaching for "the proper tool(s)".

Gotta say I’m really starting to like carrying my SAK as my primary knife as I did in my pre knife nut days. Was going to be a week long experiment but Ive continued to see how it fairs. Today my huntsman and I got a healthy coating of ATF fluid. Again the primary blade opening boxes of parts, can opener as a scraper on an old transmission pan gasket. Working out of the garage at the moment, so the joys of crawling underneath the truck on my back with a handful of ratchets and the adjustable nut lathe. Comes in handy having a SAK in my pocket. Don’t gotta crawl out just to grab a screwdriver from the box for use as a pokey device.
