What did you use your SAK for today?

Didn't get a shot when it happened, but the pliers on the swisschamp popped one of the spring loaded doohickeys on my receiver unit of my hardhat radio so the mic would work again.

One of those days where: the only scissors I could find, are on the knife in my pocket.
My ever present Rambler.
Snipped the corner on a pack of Kimbo beans to fill the grinder.
Same for a sachet of vinegar at lunch when the corner just would not tear.
I also cut a corner on a packet of nuts so I could pour out a few at a time.
A fully open pack leads to disaster in your pack or pocket.
I used the screwdriver tip as my metal finger-nail to help start peel an Orange.
Just finished splitting an apple in two because I they said it couldn’t be done, or because I should do some laundry.

Using the last of my moose burger to make up some chili today. Needed a little hand with one of these cans because my old can opener doesn’t like to cut all the way through.

Waiter performed the cutting and screw-turning needed for HVAC filter replacement.

Filing down my thick toenails with the metal file. It's the only thing that works short of getting a huge unwieldy file from the hardware store. I could never find a standalone toenail file as aggressive as the one on my SAK.

Fixed a loose arm on my office chair today with my old Wenger Viking. The locking screwdrivers on them are great for quick adjustments to things.

Sunday afternoon here in Australia. I'm out working, getting a few jobs done in case we get a storm tomorrow. My wife sent me a picture, that my 6 year old son took, of what she is using her SAK for. Cutting open the box the Christmas tree has been stored in for the last year.

Turned a big cardboard box into a catchbox for catapult ammo, because its more fun with your Uncle Billy !

Sliced up cardboard for recycling, cut up some cellophane wrap, opened an electronic timer to replace batteries.

Popped off the hot/cold cover of the faucet knob and then used the screwdriver to remove the phillips screw that gave me access to the cartridge that I replaced
