  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What did you use your sebenza for today?

DC, if i may. What angle do you sharpen your knives at and what grit? Do you touch them up daily? How does hitting copper and scraping dirt and such affect your edge?

I don’t know the exact angle. I’d say somewhere between 20-22 as a guess. What I’ve done for the most part is follow the factory edge. I eventually sharpen all my CRKs to that same angle. I don’t strop (I know I should) and really don’t sharpen that often. But I don’t keep them razor sharp like some people, working edge is fine for my uses. Copper really isn’t that hard of a material. Abrasives, dirt, rocks and things like that will do damage and dull quicker
