It makes me think of Malkoff devices, which are among my favorite flashlights. They come unceremoniously clad in bubble wrap for cost effectiveness. Do we really need fine packaging? No, but I still quiver looking at that photo and I'm keeping my CRKs. I admire the gall!Commitment scares some….

Love it. I am totally happy to buy knives without a box, hate storing them, but when they come with box and docs I force myself to keep them now (didn’t used to). Why? I really have no idea. I don’t keep the packaging for anything else in my life. I hate clutter.Commitment scares some….

I used to keep all knife, light, gun ( my 3 vices) packaging as I tended to do a lot of “horse trading” but those days are over for me.It makes me think of Malkoff devices, which are among my favorite flashlights. Gene & Cathy are the best...It makes me think of Malkoff devices, which are among my favorite flashlights. They come unceremoniously clad in bubble wrap for cost effectiveness. Do we really need fine packaging? No, but I still quiver looking at that photo and I'm keeping my CRKs. I admire the gall!
Yes they are! They make the only lights I use / own these days.Gene & Cathy are the best...
The only thing I don't use one of theirs for is my headlamp for my nightly dog walks down our forest road. I use a Nitecore for that duty and it's held up very well for some years now.Yes they are! They make the only lights I use / own these days.

Anymore when I buy a tool, be it a knife, light, or gun I hang on to the packaging long enough to know it’s not going back then just toss it. I know I’ll not be selling anymore as I just give what I no longer want need to my kids or kid-in-laws.
I cleaned out my at home shop / man cave a couple years ago and tossed like 20-30 knife and light boxes and about a dozen Glock cases, it was freeing and I’ll not go back to the clutter!
I will admit the pic was all about the dramatic effect!
We’ll said Sir!It's important to be able to handle oneself in a scrap as well as get oneself out of a scrape. Let's not even bring up close shaves.

Then I did this. Now for a tear down, clean & lube and a nice fresh edge.
