What Did You Use Your Sebenza For Today ???

Been using my small Insingo pretty hard lately including cutting open a can today. It was starting to dull and also a little gritty due to all the pocket fuzz and dirt. So, for today I took it apart for a good cleaning, lube, and sharpening. Now it's back to smooth and sharp and ready for more.

I used my 25 to make holes for eyes and nose, and carve out the mouth of a snowman I built with my daughter.

I love it. My oldest girly is barely two. So lately she is not too fond of the snow. But we did get to make our first snow man this year. It was a magical moment. Next year I can get both of them outside quick so my wife and two girls can all help.
Love the snow carving, that is a good one!

A man with two daughters is a truly rich man Matt! My 10 year-old girl is the jewel in my days. She'd been hoping so badly for snow and none came until yesterday. She was over the moon.

Used my sebenza 25 to open tons of mail before shredding it. One of my favorites. The scales are showing that nice work Ti look......!

Used my 25 to help out with my weekend project. Building a pea gravel box for my kids (sand is too messy). I cut all the wood by hand just to really give my sebenza a real test. It took a little longer but it was worth it. Now some pictures.

Just to see who stops reading at the pictures. The sebenza was only used to cut the lining and open the bags pea gravel. Oh, and to sharpen a pencil.

That's awesome Justin (other than the hoody issue). I know we might disagree on the 25 pocket clip, but we both agree the 25 is a wicked blade with an amazing grind.

I used my Lrg Micarta Insingo as a placeholder for the incoming 25(arrives 3/12) :)

Oh yeah. I prefer it to the 21. The only thing I need to do now is figure out a way to sharpen it. I mean to buy a wicked edge, but the price always makes me say no. After about a week of looking for things to cut up, my 25 is already in need of a sharpening.

On topic, no pics but I used the 25 to cut a piece off my son's umbilical cord! He was born on the 26th of Feb, and this stinkin' thing has not fallen off yet.

Thanks, they really do enjoy it, but being 2 and almost 4 I think I could throw some leaves in a cardboard box and that would entertain them for at least an hour. This will last longer though.

Trying to find out, which of these two beauties suits my needs better... So Small 21 and Small Insingo Carbon in food prep, cardboard and wood cutting.

Used it to chamfer some irrigation pipe, because Chris has taught me two things... Use your tools, and sharp edges are only for knives "do the [dang] job right or don't do it at all " also installed some drip irrigation for my wife's garden. Sailed through that stuff like it was butter.
