What do all of you do for a Living???????

Hello all, Mike's post got me thinking. There are so many forumites and I just wondered what all of you did for a paycheck. I am a pastry assistant. I make pastries, cakes, desserts for a restaurant in nyc. It is a really fun career. I can make anything I want and it usually comes out great. Now let me know what all of you do. Thanks

Liong

I'm a Webmaster and spend my time on the net. Which is kind of handy to get paid to be on BladeForums

I'm also a firefighter. Strictly volunteer at this point and the $5 per call that we get goes pretty much right back into the fire department, so I'm not doing it for the money.

No, it's not because I work in a sewer like Ed Norton (Honeymooners) nor because I get a concussion everytime I sit down, (although I do get headaches).
Actually I'm in Sales, and I like to position myself in an Industry where there is the most potential to make the most money. Right now that's in E-Commerce, so that's what I do. I meet with business owners, ask them a few questions, beat them up with logic, and bring them to the realization that they would have to be crazy to turn down what I'm offering them. That's it, fairly simple, but then I'm a fairly simple guy. Ask anyone here.

I work with my wife in a dog grooming business. I've been making knives for 15 years and I've decided to go full time. I've only been playing with computers since July so I'm still a rookie there.

I, up until September '98, was an offset press operator at a small shop. After 13 years of unbearable stress I decided to give that up for the world of knifemaking. I don't plan on returning to printing.

Until then, I sell a mortgage information service in the mornings, and knives out of a mall in the evenings, while I strategize making a living out of my hobby, knives.

I try to make knives as hobby. So far my wife tells me that I spend more time buying equipment than working on knives.
