What do we really use and what for???

1. EDC at home, work, or in the car.
My Izula is on me 24/7. My ESEE-4 is on me about 20/7.

2. Hiking- Day hiking
Izula, ESEE-4 and ESEE-6

3. Backpacking- Remote camping and well established trail with plenty of people.
Same as above, Izula, ESEE-4 and ESEE-6

4. Travel/Work Tools
Again...Izula and/or ESEE-4

I can't think of anything I can't do with those 3 knives. A lite-machete would definitely come in handy sometimes and I plan to add that to my pack soon, but I can manage without it if I have too.
 
I am curious why, on a day hike, you'd carry both an RC-4 and RC-6. I carry an Izula and an RC-4 on my day hikes. I could also understand an Izula and an RC-6. Just trying to understand the reason for carrying all three.

Mind you, if car camping I'd have all three in tow.
