Like the moose? track logo on those Hellize blades Liza, blades themselves ain't bad either.;) Haven't seen him making much anymore but have wanted more than a few of his knives. Do you use them much? How do you like the 5160? Do they feel/are they durable?

Nice ospreys. Also on the ol wish list.

Those siberts are awesome Jaxx . Believe those are on my "can't afford/obtain " list though.;)
 
Are those Carters as sharp as people say they are? I've handled one of his chefs knives, and it was easily the sharpest I've ever held. A legitimate razor.

Oh I also cheat on Busse with a poulan pro, which gotta say pretty damn happy with, in real hot weather 78f+ doesn't run well, but otherwise couldn't ask for better for the price, which was $75 refurbished, who knows how long it will last though, if it's 3 years+, will be money well spent.

When I cheat on Busse it's with a different species altogether...

That sounded weird. In any case I found that during a winter camping trip that chopping hardwood for building a campsite and processing firewood is not the best use of calories and it's near impossible to clutch a near 2 lb knife when it's -15 degrees outside. Found that the most practical choice, even in non-winter conditions for me is a saw. Silky makes some good ones. I have the Katanaboy (the ridiculously big one below), the Big Boy, and Pocket Boy. They're awesome and take half the time than chopping wood. Will run the Big Boy, Battle Saw, and BG Mean Street Ergo on my future camping trips. I think everyone should at least have the Pocket Boy to round out their hiking/camping kits. Lightweight and will process wood quick. And it only cost me $32.

It's a Sasquatch. It's bigger than the silverback. Which is on my wish list. Haven't given it a good beating yet, but first impressions are good. Ergos are the best I have ever felt. Can't really describe it. Gives you such a sure , strong grip. Makes the blade feel very light in while using.
 
In folders I am not that big of a steel snob. I like M390,s30v,VG10. Not super steels but really loved AUS10 and really miss BG42 in the Sebenzas. Never had any problems with AUS8.
