What do you do for a living?

Retired military, four years in the US Marine Corps and sixteen in the US Army. Worked for the Dept. of Defense for twenty years. I'm retired and can usually be found in my shop making knives.

Farmer (culinary herbs) and local produce in season. This is a busy time of year for us so not much time for knifemaking. Still try to do at least 1 a week. Going to get into some folders and butterflies so I'll be tooling up a little soon.

My kids and I make muzzle loading gun parts -- butts, guards, sights, actions, locks and just about every other part. Sell wholesale in US and Europe. Sounds like a big deal but it's not. Just a hobby I have had for about 60 years but it pays the bills.
My real job is baby sitting for my Daughter -- she works nights.

Well, I fish and hunt and hunt and fish and make a few knives. But then I have to go to work to be able to afford to do the things I live (and love) to do............Journeyman electrician for the past 30 + years-------mostly industrial work.

I work for the microelectronics industry, so for now, playing with chips and bugs, hope to play some day with hammers and anvils but will play with sanders and grinders very soon :D

Electro-mechanical repair technician :D , yeah, thats what the resume says.

I work for a company that makes photofinishing equipment, install, troubleshoot repair. Entails Electrical, electronics, mechanical, chemical, and tons of computer crap of all stripes. And alot of miles(thankfully in a company car) and alot of hotels. I'm thinking I should get a gig doing quality control for the hotels on the side  .

Different people, different equipment, different problems, every day, pretty cool actually.
