Wow, I didn't realize that. Thanks for the input, and I just found out that I might be getting something expensive from Best Buy. My mom said she spent X amount of dollars at best buy, and now she still has to go to the mall...I came home today from school to babysit the little ones so she could shop, good thing I did:D.

ps. a little side note, I posted in the general forum and thought you guys might be interested in posting on it, it's called "Do you remember your First..."

Im not sure if I am going to get them, but I have been walkign around my house sayign in a loud voice, I sure would like a mora for christmas, lol, I also have blerted out that a maxpedition jumbo versipack and a camelbak HAWG would be nice under the tree too, lol...but I can't be sure someone was listening..hahaha

:D LOL , I can see it now ,hi honey how was work " maxpedition jumbo versipack" WTF ? :confused:okay... I would sure like a "mora" for Xmas, WTF ? I gave you some last night...... :eek:What are you Babbling about....."camelback HAWG" :mad:now your making her mad .....now your getting a lump of coal...I just make it simple print off picture/ads and say Dear I would sure like one of these for Xmas.... :D:p:D

Just don't postpone TOO long! There's just nothing quite like teaching basic life skills, like bushcraft, to your kids. (In that spirit, my wife and I seem to have "ordered" a mutual birthday present, due to arrive this next summer :D !!!) (This is number 5 :cool:)

It's also an excuse to buy an extra of each interesting kind of knife!

I'm actually getting the two cheap Buck knives mentioned in another thread ($4 total) and maybe some replacement Dremel bits.

My kids get all the goodies on Christmas. The Mrs. and I can buy (each other) stuff whenever we want.
 
No clue what I'm getting. Probably gift cards or something.

But I'm stoked about what I'm making my stepdad. He's quite into arrowheads (has many, many, many in collection) and time periods like that, so I'm making a neat set. I've got a Mora #1 with a nice patina, and a leather handle wrap. Then I'm making a leather pouch with a pin on compass, ceramic rod, match case and twince (just for style ;) ) in it. Still have to make the sheath for the Mora. I'm making the handle and the pouch out of a bit of very nice leather he gave me a while back for another nice project, then I'm going to burn the symbol of his contracting company onto both pieces of leather.

Gonna be sweet! I'll post some pics, too. :D
 
I know Im getting a BUCK 102 autographed by Chuck Buck and I got a SOG trident as an early gift? Any good?
 
Got a call from Dell saying a Dell 1521 notebook was back ordered. The call was supposed to go to where my wife works, but Dell goofed up and called my home and spoiled my surprise (the wife was pissed). Since I found out about the notebook my wife showed me the purchase order and when I saw Vista I cancelled the order. For an additional $50 I could have had XP loaded on it, but I need a new home PC more than a notebook. I have the greatest wife...

lol...at 1st I did just kind of blurt out information, but Im good, I always leave printed info for my family members to see laying around, hahaha, I know they ahve no idea what Im talking about...
