What do you think about BRADLY CUTLERY?

My Limited Edition Alias arrived yesterday - number 13 of 25! :(

It is good - very good. Fit and finish is excellent, the knife locks up like a vault and is a breeze to open and close.
I love the blade profile and the handle feels just right.
The lock bar is not as chunky as the Sebeza's, but the Alias still feels very solid.
However, the jury's still out on the tiger striped blade!

Pics to follow..

Whether the Alias is better or worse than the Sebenza is a matter of opinion. But I doubt that anyone at Benchmade or Bradley would *honestly* say the Alias is as nice or nicer than the Sebenza. They'd probably lie to your face about it, though.

I think it is sad that the marketing side of Bradley decided to use the the Sebenza in its early ads to draw a comparison. Because the designer of the Alias came up with a fairly original design. so any claims of the Alias being a Sebenza clone should be aimed at the marketing teams, not the designer. And now a Strider clone... ugh.

I also think the Mayhem is really cool looking. Want one.

I recently scored an Alias I for under 130 bucks. I love it - in fact, I was so impressed I just shelled out the bucks for a new Mayhem.

let us know long term how they work out for you.

The passaround and the brand new bradleys I examined at blade had a vertical and in some cases vertical AND horizontal play.

This argument finally got the best of me and I had to get one for myself. I just traded for an Alias I on the forums. Yep, I'm already a Sebenza and Skirmish fan and hopefully I can add the Bradley to my list of go-to Ti/S30V framelocks.
