What do you think is the "sexiest" part of a knife?

When you look at a knife you just drool over what part stands out the most to you? I think for me it's the handle. Rather it's the shape, materials used or a combination of the two. You can take an izula and put blocky g10 scales on it and it'll look like crap. Or you can make some beautiful wood that contours perfectly and it'll be sexy as hell. Although I must admit harpoon and sheepsfoot are pretty irresistible to me. Mainly because they're "different" .
Like this. I absolutely love this blade shape.

So what's your take? And if course pics are always welcome.

Blade shape and handle for sure... or wait does that describe the entire knife? Lol

I love seeing a knife that's clean and thin when you look at the spine of the handle, like the Rat 2.

Well, it is hard to single out one element without considering others to call it the sexiest. But I do know the single component that can easily ruin the looking of a folding knife, and that is the pocket clip. Examples of good-looking pocket clips: PM2's, ZT0620/0630's, and xm-18's. An example of ugly pocket clips: ZT0452's (it's like a cat's paw on the legs of a tiger).

Everything about that blade is georgeous. Those lines are beautiful.

For me the sexiest part of a knife is the action. Smoothness of opening/closing, detent, and lockup. Probably why I'm obsessed with the lg Inkosi cf. The fact I find it very aesthetically appealing and its incredibly light weight @4oz make it worth the cost. Along with the materials and F&F it just kind of hits everything perfectly for me. :D

The part that's driven into the skull.
Just kidding. I've never looked at a knife as sexy. I do appreciate a knife as a tool and generally turned away by more ornate types. The type of knives I like have a built for purpose look. Typically barlows, Buck 110 and KaBars are the most attractive to me. You pick one up and it not only looks but also has a feel that you're holding a tool with a specific purpose. I've usually carried SAK's just out of convenience, but I've recently acquired a Trestle Pines Grand Portage, or as I call it, a Barlow with a screwdriver. Yes the SAK has more tools and such, but the Barlow just feels right. I also believe pocket knives should all have a screwdriver.
So basically, something that looks plain, yet excells at it's purpose, I guess that's kind of 'sexy' but not like an ugly chick that's good in bed. Just plain capable.

On most knives the stamp on the base of the blade or on the blade , a good example of this is Victorinox, there lettering is flawless

Beauty in Its simplicity and function basically

I personally like a simple looking blade, but for "sexy" i have to say a nice, wood handle. Pretty much all the wood handles I've seen on Liam Hoffman's knives and axes are sexy.

Functional beauty does me in. When a tool is so perfectly reduced to its leanest where nothing is in excess. No extraneous doodads or embellishments that interfere with the tool's ability to do its job. Refined efficiency just taps into something in the brain stem that nothing else can.

More like a skinny knife that has had attention given to the top of the handle. I'll upload pictures when I get home.
