what do you think of cryo treatment

As said before cryo used on certain steels AS PART OF the heat treat will help. Just sending off an old already heat treated blade for just a cryo bath will have little to no effect. The fact is you dont need cryo, just look at Bob Dozier and his D2 knives. He gets stellar preformance, something that proffesor would be very out of line to argue with. If you want to cryo your emerson go ahead but it will need to be heat treated all over, not just cryo'd.
