Require more attention than a typical folder... I was lazy with my first one and junked it when it got wet, the wood swole, then the blade rusted. Had much better luck with the second one.

I love the aesthetics and they work great. Probably the first thing I would buy if I was starting over as a knife knut.

hell ya, i just put an awsome patina on my number 7 with franks red hot sauce and soap which i dried with a hairdryer and in less then 4 minutes it had a patina.

Not only that, but the pic is of an Opinel No 6 (visible on the Virobloc ring) while the poster was claiming he had patinated his No 7.

Such a shame to steal other people's work and claim it as your own....

Though he probably just linked it directly from the Google images. I doubt he read that thread.
