I like the bottom knife more than the other two listed. Just because it looks like a classic drop point design which is my favorite type of blade. Simple all around design that would be easier to maintain as in sharpening when it came to that. I would like a G10 scale on the off side just for better gripping ergos for my hands. But it looks pretty nice as is! keepem sharp

I think they use the dumbest possible placement of the pocket clip for a flipper. Harder to deploy, and unsafe.

I like the top knife because of the blade design. Middle knife does nothing for me, and the third knife is fairly nice looking. Can't see the specs though....

I'm all about that first one. Also, it kinda makes me think of Sinbad. I just keep seeing it as a scimitar. Also, I'm glad to see tip-up and bearings finally in the mix.

Does that model have a steel lockbar insert? What's the planned release date on those, and the price?

I'm with Comeuppance, I want this one. I love that blade shape (what do we call that, a reverse tanto?) and having bearings and the clip on the correct end would hurt either. I wonder when this one will hit the shelves . . .

^ thats cool,love that one on the bottom,too.might just be number 3 & 4..

I like the first one too. Weird how they've given up on including the blade length. They need more professionalism in their website, information, etc.

Like many other knifemakers Kizer will be at next big event which is the IWA Outdoor Classics in Nuremberg, Germany on March 7-10, 2014.

Looks like China junk to me.:barf:

Care to expand on that and be more specific? What about it looks inherently Chinese? Why do you assert, with no actual knowledge of the product in question, that it is or looks like junk?

Or are you just making unjustified broad generalizations based on zero experience with the brand in question?

I'll bet it's the latter. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but yours is pretty ridiculous.

I hope they make some simpler designs. I considered their current offering with the plain, smooth titanium scales but I have been holding off since I heard they would be using bearings with new models. I hope they make a new one with bearings that doesn't have all the sculpting and anodizing on the scales, that stuff's not really my style. I'm excited to see reviews of how well these flip though!

Ive got customs from Brian Tighe,RJ Martin,Crawford, to name a few.If Kizer was china junk i wouldnt own 2 of them & they would have returned the same day i got them.

How about the overly ornate carvings on the first ones handles? Way too many handle screws on the black one. The fact that the designs look copied. The blue one looks like a Kershaw ripoff. Meh, whatever floats your boat. That stuff screams China overcompensation.

NOT junk but they are made in China using EDM cutters, CNC millers and quality materials (imported into China from Japan & USA). I have two of them and I'm very satisfied with the quality.

I don't see how that is representative of China or poor build quality - that sounds more like a dislike of the design, which is otherwise irrelevant.

Way too many handle screws on the black one.

I completely agree with this. Also, the knife weighs too much, has a blade length that makes it illegal for me to carry in Denver, is recurved, and has pocket clip placement that I'm not a fan of. That knife does nothing for me.

The fact that the designs look copied.

From WHO? The only one I see is that the second one has a blade reminiscent of the Brous Reloader, which is reminiscent of the Direware Solo, which is reminiscent of...

The blue one looks like a Kershaw ripoff.

Which of the dozens of plain-bladed drop point knives are you referring to? It's just a very generic overall design.

Now THIS is interesting. You're implying that they have to compensate for being from China. More than anything else, that shows a very interesting kind of personal bias.

It just seems that China made knives have a lot more embellishments. Rough Rider comes to mind. All the pinched, engraved bolsters and coin edge nail nicks. IMHO

I like the blue one and think maybe the extra screws on the black model may be purely for effect. I really like the design on the Ki 4423, gold one. But for everything I like, I wont buy them, tip down only is a deal breaker for me.
All that being said, I think they are nice looking knives.

I can't say I've noticed that.

Were the Rough Rider knives designed in China? Those seem like very American slip joint designs.

The model you mention is tip-up carry:

. . . or did you have a typo, and you prefer only tip down carry?
