I can't say I've noticed that.
Were the Rough Rider knives designed in China? Those seem like very American slip joint designs.
I don't know where they are designed, nor do I care. Enjoy your knives.

As for kizer being unoriginal in designs, heres some info on the designer of the handles ;Kim Ning, the designer of it, put two important Chinese Ancient Elements on the knife handle, LingZi and Hui ZhuanLun, by using high technology Laser Carving machine. The model you mention is tip-up carry:

. . . or did you have a typo, and you prefer only tip down carry?
WOW! Blingy, bling bling. The model you mention is tip-up carry:

If the 4423 only looks like that regarding the handle then that's not for me. Too much bling! In the first post it looks less golden and tamer...
Talk about a cop-out response. I was getting ready for a real debate, and you just completely abandoned your previous statements without acknowledging or responding to any of mine.
At least we now know without a doubt that your opinion is based off of personal bias, and you have no interest in facts - which is what I suspected from the beginning, and was further reinforced by your unwillingness or inability to respond to my statements and questions.
... I love that blade shape (what do we call that, a reverse tanto?)...
These seem heavy knives, overly thick blade-stock...?

Ling Zi (Pheasant Tail), a decoration material for Chinese ancient Generals and heros armet, like Zhou yu, Lv BuWei and Cao cao. And the Sun wukong, a famous character of Chinese Myth Novel, also wears an armet with two longLing zi. Wearing it always indicates that you are a capable, strong, brave, smart and powerful man.
Hui ZhuanLun (Gyroscopewheel), another vital element of Chinese ancient culture, Became famous from the Warring States Period of China (Abt 2000 years ago). You can find Hui ZhuanLun (Gyroscopewheel) at a lot of Chinese ancient utensil.
LingZi is laying along the horizonal line of knife handle, and the HuiZhuanlun are spreading around Ling Zi, like many of guarding soldiers protecting the King or the General.
Mr Kim Ning was inspired by a Chinese ancient treasured sword which has more than 2,000 years history and just unearthed recently.

I'm all about that first one. Also, it kinda makes me think of Sinbad. I just keep seeing it as a scimitar. Also, I'm glad to see tip-up and bearings finally in the mix.
Does that model have a steel lockbar insert? What's the planned release date on those, and the price?
WOW! Blingy, bling bling.
I really like the third option, but want tip up carry whenever possible. Keep up the good work!
Good thread.
I am glad to see that they are offering models with tip-up pocket clip carry now.
I will be keeping track of these new models and when they will be available.
