I have 'tested' most of my 'bushcraft' knives in my backyard, but use my Buck 119 & 192 the most. If you encounter poison ivy/oak, it's good to use a knife that can be dunked in a pale of hot/sudsy water, as well as disposable gloves. My wooded hillside backyard has been sprayed repeatedly with the likes of brush-b-gone, but the poison ivy/oak perseveres, as do the brambles. Mechanical destruction and removing the remnants works.
