What Do You WISH Survive! Offered?

This would probably be out of the survival relm of knives , but a karambit style knife made by survive knives would be sweet. Maybe a short run. They would sell out. Not sure what the blade making process would be like though.

Been there, done that. Those things break. We did around 10 ironwood handles. One broke during production, two came in as warranty returns. If we weren't trying to make hard use, reliable, beat the hell out of it knives, we would be all over the wood options. They are pretty.

With the Monday releases it should be 2 or 3 day order fulfillment. As we get the SK Series ramped up they will be same or next day fulfillment.

Thanks for the reply, Ellie. I will buy a machete. No doubt about it!

I'm in on a Machete even though I have little use for one up here. When I lived in S. Florida would have been the perfect time for it.

Anyway, Hard Knocks gave me an Idea:

Steak Knives. I wish Survive! offered Steak Knives. Perhaps in a set of 6 or even 8. It's just an Idea, and they wouldn't have to be in a super steel. Just being able to cut my American grown Beef, Venison, or Elk with American made knives would be Awesome!

That is a pretty big evolution to drop with such a short statement. :)
Okay, truth be told I'm kind of a nut for machetes and I own many of them.
Machetes have two problems, first they are all too short and so my middle aged back gives me hell when I try to clear brush to the ground with them.
Second, they are pretty much all run too soft and take significant damage with even casual contact with the ground or other hard objects.
I'm not asking for the impossible, but I'd love to see a 24 inch or better machete with a significant taper and adequate cross section to avoid the flex that is the bane of machetes that are are over 20 inches.
I'd also love to see this machete made in something like 5160 that can be heat treated to HRC 58 and still handle chopping impacts.
My holy grail would be a 26" machete in 3V at 0.125" with decent weight forward that doesn't flex or wobble when you actually hit something solid with it.
I'd never need another tool to clear brambles and brush, but I'm not sure that anybody is going produce this blade.
A Hansa Yegua Tres Canales is close but the steel is way too soft and takes damage if you look at it funny. It does sharpen pretty easily. :)
For twenty bucks I can't complain too much. Obviously my holy grail machete is going to set me back a significant number of bills.
So, what are you offering? :) Hopefully not a clone of an Ontario 18".
Give me the bad news, I can take it!

Immediate delivery and an installment payment plan!
A line of axe/hatchets made out of s7 or 3v.

I would be all over that!!

Limited edition runs of handles in different colors.

Absolutely, I'd love denim micarta for a 4.7, or carbon fiber for a 3.5.

Also, liners would be great too, but I'm not sure if it would work with the removable handles?

With the new Monday releases starting later this month, the GSO knives will ship within the week. That is as immediate as we can get while still offering a range of options for our customers.

I was recently wondering if our current website could be setup for installments payments. Not likely. If it were ever an option, it would only be for the new, super custom series we are planning to offer. We won't ship out a knife that isn't fully paid for.

Looking forward to hearing more details on the super custom line! Exciting!
