Buck has always been a company that tries to give it's customers new innovative products and is not afraid to take a chance with new technology. .Remember the Crosslock or Ion fusion coatings? So with the new aluminum frames I wish Buck would make a series of light weight 112's with different super steels and special LE's with a drop or spear points. I think it would be a real popular line and sell well. Or give us the options in the Custom shop. So what do you wish Buck would make new in 2017?

I would love to see the the Paklite series with a limited production run in Zombie Green. To be honest I can't believe they haven't played around with that pop culture fad already. In this instance it's just a minor finish change to see how well the color would sell. I have a feeling they might do pretty well.

I would like a Sabre grind Bushcraft knife. 3/16 or even 1/4 thick. Uncoated blade, canvas micarta handle with a quality leather sheath. With an overall length of 12 inches. this would attract a worldwide booming market. I love the collectable as well just would lIke a good user. One thats not afraid to work or get dirty..

Small medium and large versions.

I have a feeling that there will be some really great ideas for Buck in this thread!

Ok, I'll give my 2 cents. I'd like to see Buck do a limited run of their 334 Trapper. Same blade shapes, grind and size of the 2000 Millennium edition model. Same features (lanyard hole & nickel pins) with the Buck shield, micarta handles and a leather sheath. Heck, it could even be with their standard steel. I'll buy 2 and send you the money in advance. DM

I'd like a couple of these myself. Would also like to see some or all of the 300 series offered with some new scales, jigged bone, burgundy micarta, etc.

All that and bring back the long pull and swedge to the clip...such a classic look and feel.

Clay

I would like to see a new 560 or 186 titanium with new high end steels and Damascus , I really love thes knives .

I would like the BuckTool to make a comeback.

I can imagine a couple of different versions to keep their size down a bit.
Fishing version: Hook eye pin, crimper, longer needle-nose, clipper (scissor), hook file, etc...
Electrician version: Wire stripper in lieu of pliers, screw drivers, keyhole saw, etc...
Hunting version: Choke tube wrench, side cutter in lieu of pliers, auger/hole starter for tree screws, etc...
Auto version: Pliers, fuse puller, glass breaker, belt cutter, etc...

I can see owning several different versions that are more conveniently sized and I could stash them with the appropriate gear. Make them do fewer things better than a lot of things mediocrely.

Knives? Bring back a flat ground Empress Trio. I just haven't been able to warm up to the hollow grind on Buck's cutlery.

I've mentioned this in the past, but my wish would be a 103XL (maybe a wider 5" blade).

A 302 with a caplifter

I like the idea of a new modern buck tool. I have a few of the old ones and have them stashed all over. Cars, backpacks etc. Of course I would love to see a 45th anny of the 317 a limited edition with maybe modern/non traditional scales.

A Vantage 345-347 better QC . Go back to the screws not the riveting. I think this is the BEST EDC blade hands down. Although I have had no issues with blade centering my self and I have 10 of them I've seen others with it and it's to bad it happens but I also understand why it does. Back to the 345 it's light, simple and that Pocket Clip Wow! The 845-847 very nice indeed but the weight of the 345-347 is the real winner in my world. Go back to the screws step up on the QC so everyone can be Happy. It really is Great Knife!

The "Operator" based off the Buck 830 Marksman in carbon fiber scales instead of G10. none of that junk carbon fiber with only a few layers or laminated g10 cf. real carbon fiber with many layers.
also must have a good slicing blade. the one it has currently is well... just able to cut stuff. its not a good design the current way it is as noted in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8TmW9x5GnM

More large Vantages with different handle materials. Wood preferably.

Caplifter would be nice!

A Nessmuk like they made for Thompson Center years ago.

May be a bridge too far but a nice wood handled ax would be nice also.

A Santoku with kullenschiff or granton.
A long the same lines...
I would love a Petty knife (shorter Chiefs knife) with a flat grind. Something smaller than the Chiefs knife but longer than a paring with a dropped edge.

A 110 with a pocket clip like the Vantage, as mentioned, I would buy.
