What do you wish to see Buck make in 2017???

A bigger 55, to compliment my 501

BuckShack....then it wouldn't be a 55....it would be a 77 or 88.
My understanding is the 55 got it's name because it was half the size of a 110. Half a 110 = 55 :)

I'll stay with my Buck wish list for the last 3 or 4 years of a Paradigm Pro 110.
One was in the works a while back, but I guess Buck didn't see enough projected sales to bring it into production.

Ok, I will play. But I have a poor attitude that any of it will happen.

1. High class 303. Some type of high class scales, other than mis-matched stag. Some special wood or something cheap but classical, jigged bone with real random jigging and deep color or white bone or regular horn. Mirror polished blades.

2. Bring back the 112 Ecolite with slimmer scales and tough blade pivot. brown or grey diamondwood color. With nice brown leather, tooled sheath or at least nylon that is sewed well in corners.

3. A roll or folded pac set of two skeleton fixed blades, one a cutter and one a skinner, WITH a folding Buck saw. Nice material on the roll, with Buck sewn on the outside. Talk about a back pack or fanny pack hunting item......maybe throw in a fire starter or small sharpner also..... a slot sewn in for some rubber gloves would make it over the top.

4. Small Vantage, fancy scales. Polished blade. An figure a way to locktite the clip screws during production.

You wanted to know... I don't baton or split fire wood with a knife, but I do represent all the ole guys who carry knives a lot, go hunting and fishing, we have worked long and hard and have a couple of dollar bills we can save up to buy this stuff...........300

Very true. They can call it whatever they like! I disregarded the 55 for years because I had a 503. Boy, that was a mistake. The Clip vs Drop point really make a difference and I enjoy having one of each now. One size up to match my 501 and I will be happy!

Don't know who wanted to know, but, I'm in the 'ole guys' bracket and thank you for all you do!

As for what I'd like from Buck...is an Axis type lock on the Vantage or any liner lock knife but especially the Vantage. It is a great knife design. Preston

I have seen some of the Camillus made large Trappers with locking blades. Which I would really like but then may not use it. Those are the ones that go for more money. DM

Here's an example of what I'd like to see a return to. Love the scales and the blade grind.

Those are the real random jigging, not the stuff Buck imports. Actually, just a hint more random would be even better. Look at some made by the old New England area knife makers, now mostly defunct..... 300

I would like to see a scout type knife in the 300 series. Bottle/can opener, punch or small blade type of arrangement. The guy who had the solitaire paired with a caplifter had the right idea.

A return of the whittler pattern for the 300 series.

I wish the paperstone series didn't go away, they reminded me of the old bucklites. Maybe a paperstone with a drop point?

maybe a 300 series 2 blade Barlow (maybe a sheepsfoot main with pen secondary?) and a large (4.5 to 5.5 inches closed) 2 blade equal end or swell center Sunfish?

^^^This, and with a deep-carry pocket clip also.

Belt buckle that is a working 112.
And/or
Belt buckle that is a working 110.

"Ok, I'll give my 2 cents. I'd like to see Buck do a limited run of their 334 Trapper. Same blade shapes, grind and size of the 2000 Millennium edition model. Same features (lanyard hole & nickel pins) with the Buck shield, micarta handles and a leather sheath. Heck, it could even be with their standard steel. I'll buy 2 and send you the money in advance. DM"

I would definately second this although I would be happy with all the same materials. Just want one with the black handles.

I would like Buck to make a 110 with a small thumb stud on the blade so it can be opened with hand for those people who love the buck 110 knife but have limited hand or finger strength.

ITE I like the idea of a National Park issue with gold etched blades either 110 or 112. ..Even better yet model the marketing after the 50 state quarters the US mint issued. That brought millions of people back to coin collecting, many first timers too. If folks knew that there would be a whole series of special Buck knives coming in maybe 2 different versions it would create a LOT of intrest in the Buck brand itself! Make a serlized high end version limited to 100 or 250 knives of each, priced at $250.00 plus and at the same time a lower cost version of the same knife for under $100.00 msrp . Maybe be able to suscribe to get the compleat Series? ???? I know that I would buy 4 or 5 of just the Florida knife. If it came out over a definite time frame, say 2 years or so I feel it would be a Grand Slam out of the park for Buck. The more I think about it it might really work! And if it did work Buck could always go to another theme or continue it. The numbers would have to make sense tho. Folks love to collect ANYTHING and I would love to see CJ on CNN talking about it. .

I've said this before but I want to see a set of 100 series fixed blades with white phenolic handles and DLC coated blades.
Would be the best looking ever and would pay homage to the historically short lived white melamine handled knives from the early 60's.

I had to go all the way back to 2012 to find a picture of a melamine handled knife... I'm sure Matt wouldn't mind my bringing it forward.

Here is a recent addition to my collection. Its a leather spacer 119 with a white melamine handle. These are almost impossible to find, enjoy a look... I haven't had it cleaned up yet...

I have another thing that I would like to add, I would like Buck to make a Lock blade knife the size of the 110 but with a Spey blade like you see on the trapper pattern pocket knife.
