What does 'X X X X' signify on a blade?

He has now changed how he lists his 2nds. He is calling them "New sec". He isn't saying that in the title. It is only in the "Description" box, were it says age. The written description below says nothing about the fact that they are 2nds. He is still trying to pull a fast one, and it looks like it has work on alot of people. He is getting higher prices on his 2nds than what many of the new ones from others have sold for.

He is most definitely crooked. After pushing him on the issue, and reporting him to hEllbay, here is his last response to me:

Dear xxxx,

I buy in bulk from Kershaw as seconds without a warranty but you can't see any flaws. Thanks

We'll see how he responds to my last question asking why this isn't disclosed on his listings...

In other words, he went to the factory sale and bought a bunch of factory seconds, without boxes or warranty, and now he's reselling them, caveat emptor. :(

Whatta piece of work. (Can I use a jerk-it here? Please? 'Twould be most appropriate.)

Maybe Kershaw needs to put "Factory Second - No Warranty" on the blade so people who don't know what "XXXX" means knows what they are getting.

I'm new to Kershaw blades looking at getting my first, a Leek, but the info here regarding their 'XXXX' marking should be known by all comers.

'XXXX' rates rate a sticky of its own.

Nothing is wrong with them as long as they are advertised that way, like KershawGuy's. What he is doing is misleading. But yeah, it should be known by as many people as possible.

It's not a "jerk it" smilie, but rather a "using the plunger to get the turd to flush" smilie. :)

Maybe this one........
