What does your other half carry?

I`m happy i brought my wife slowly into knives,
(not the way i´m into,)
but after a lot of showing and talking about knives
she seems to realize the need for a cutting tool!

Hey I`m perfect happy with this,
she dont have to carry one of my (few) customs,
but she makes me happy having ANY blade with her.

I let make one knife exclusive for her as a present,

But for EDC she prefers a Endura or Delica.

I`m happy she carrys anything!

:D

In her purse, my wife carries the Cold Steel plain-edge medium clip-point Voyager that I gave to her about a year ago, and a Victorinox Classic on her key-ring. (She also carries her Glock 26.).

The jewels of the family. Nothing sharp unless it's in the kitchen. . . In fact, I recently convinced her to let me put a Photon II on her key-ring. . .

But, that's OK. . .she tolerates my addiction ! :D

LOL

I finally talked mine into carrying a SOG Mini Gentleman. I suspect she almost never uses it, since it is still sharp and has an unmarked blade:rolleyes: ...
Let's just say I frequently hear "what do you need all those knives for???"

I first convinced my wife to go with a small, thin EDC -- a Gerber LST. It wouldn't have been my first pick, but hey, it was a knife. Then she started eyeing my Gerber AR3.0, and it soon became her knife of choice. Now she's actively hinting that she wants a red Spyderco Snap-It from AG Russell ("it's really pretty"). I guess I should be encouraged; at least her taste in knives keeps improving!

i carry a benchmade 705, usually in my purse because girly pants have small pockets. it was a gift from my boy. on my keys i keep a leatherman micra, which is an excellent little tool. i bought one for my mom too. near the mail i keep my crkt peck (the shiny gold one). i had to have it, i think it is a clever form. i also have been known to borrow my boy's spyderco mouse for the day.

i like small knives because they fit my hand well, they don't look threatening, and i appreciate the engineering of small functional tools. at knife shows i am attracted to well decorated pieces (titanium is a favorite) and smooth lined blades ("sexy" knives).

thanks hon for sharing you hobby. i'm teaching you to crochet next.:D

My wife is a public school teacher. All "weapons" are banned. She could lose her job. Of couse, EVERYTHING SOG makes are weapons (including those cute little CrossCut multitools), so she carries nothing!

For once, I wish we would convert back to the laws the police observe; not over-reacting school administrators.

I'm still trying to convince her about the advantages of carrying a knife. I did get her a pen knife. She carries it with her only occasionally.:(

My wife almost always carries her custom Spyderco Ocelot prototype in her pocket. Every once in a while she substitutes her Spyderco Vesuvius with blue inlay. Sometimes she adds a neck knife, either her Emerson La Griffe or Spyderco Mouse in Mike Sastre sheath. And every once in a while she wears her custom Larry Dougherty white ironwood 3-Finger Knife on her belt.

Her keychain includes a Spyderco Ladybug and her purse always contains a Gerber Legend multi-tool. Sometimes she also takes along a black Victorinox Explorer.

When working around horses she puts a Gerber Trailrider multi-tool on her belt. For casual use around the house she wears a lanyard with a burgundy micarta Spyderco Jester.

She has a few more Spydercos that she keeps for special purposes, or just keeps because she likes them. :)

A purple Benchmade Leopard, a mini-Leatherman tool (not Micra), an MOD Ladyhawk, a Swiss Army Card, probably a few others that I can't remember.
