What does your wife carry?

She carried one of my old Cold Steel Voyagers FOREVER, until it was dirty/dull/loose... She used it for EDC as well as her "garden" and planting knife... Cutting cordage, opening fertilizer, opening topsoil, pruning, etc.

A couple years ago I got her a SOGzilla and she carries that.

A couple weeks ago, I was at New Graham Knives and fell in love with the blue Blade-Tech Mouse, and I bought one for each of us. She is currently carrying BOTH the SOGzilla and the Mouse.

My wife carries a Leatherman Micra. While it's not a great knife, it's a start towards getting her to carry something bigger. In her go bag she has a Mora and a Vic. Tinker.

A CRKT Folts neck knife and 2 Swiss Army knives that she uses for grafting work in a avocado nursery. I keep them sharp for her and also have an unused actual Folts necker in the cupboard.

My wife carries an Izula II, a Victorinox Classic, and pepper spray. Someday, I hope to get her to carry a firearm.

My wife carries a small Spyderco. I have to remind her to make sure it isn't in her purse when we occasionally travel ty commercial airline.

My wife loves her Leek, and carries it everywhere. I've also given her a Queen copperhead and a Benchmade 525, but neither of these see much use outside the house (at home, she uses them both, but they just don't get carried). I think the Queen gets left behind because it's small and requires two hands to open; the Benchmade doesn't get carried because it's kinda chunky & heavy for a knife of that size. The Kershaw Leek is just right in terms of size & weight, is pretty non-threatening to others, and is a solid performer.

Stainless steel Spyderco Ladybug. She was worried it was too big, lol. Now she understands why Spyderco knives are awesome.

My wife has a SAK Rambler in her purse. She's going on a trip this week so I need to remind her to remove it so the TSA Nazi's don't take it.

she's lost all the knives i've given her :grumpy: i think i'm going to get her in a ccw class and get her a ruger sp-101.

Can't tell if you're serious or not, but if you are, you might want to consider letting her choose. I've seen it happen time and time again where the husband goes and buys the wife a gun, but she never carries it because she didn't get to pick it, and it doesn't fit her hand and/or has too much recoil. Or, she didn't want a gun to begin with.

Get Her A Pink Gun.
They Make Them.
She Will Love It.
But I Agree You Should Let Her Pick It.
And She'd Probably Like A .25
It's A Baby Gun With Good Power.
And You Can Get It In Pink.

Anyways.
I Do Not Have A Wife... That's Not Legal Here.
And I Don't Technically Have A Girlfriend.
But I Do Have A Girl That I Love, And We Are Possibly Going To Date.
So I'll Count That.

Anyways, Onto The Knife.
She Carries A Meyerco Maxx-Q That I Let Her Put Filework On And It's The All Black Bowie Blade Version.
She Loves The Damn Thing Lol.
I've Thought About Giving Her Another Knife. But I Don't Think She Would Carry It Because She Loves Her Knife Lol.

Oh, And A Pink Victorinox Classic SD. =]

My wife keeps a Cold Steel Safekeeper in her purse. I can't think of a better choice short of a gun. I seriously doubt that she could get a folder open under stress. I keep telling her she needs a Florida CC permit, but of course it falls on deaf ears. Maybe a little jail time would be good for her.:D My daughter has a hair brush with a spike handle. I also let her borrow my Buck Vanguard with the rubber handle a few years ago. She won't give it back, lol.

My girlfriend has the same knife in her purse. She uses it at work to open boxes and such. She did manage to give herself a nasty slice once with it though.
