What else do you use your grinder for?

From rough forging to finished product

I've used mine to shape wood for hand rails. Worked quite well though it spread dust everywhere.

I've also used it to reshape my knuckles on occasion.

Random house and kid projects, the last being a boomerang for my son to pester squirrels.
Awesome! Add a pic if you want.

Used mine to grind a replacement recoil pad for my rifle. I made a jig up based on those shown on Youtube and got a good fit first try. No chance I could have done that without my grinder.

Couple years ago a sub-contractor at work sent us prototype parts in PEEK that were to fit on a high speed rotor, they were meant to have a curved surface to match the rotor OD but had been left square, and too tall. Sending them back would have taken too long, so I took them home, knocked up a jig and used a micron belt to put the right radius on all 12 parts.

I use some of my tools for work too. I use my drill press to drill holes in vinyl plank for samples. And I used my bandsaw to cut a slot in some plexiglass we need to have up at work so it fits in this rolling cart.

1025 mostly. Most putters I have CNCd out of titanium due to current design. But still make some by hand every year.

And this is the latest putter, first timascus putter ever to my knowledge

That timascus putter is amazing. I would have never guessed someone could make a golf club outside of a huge factory.

It does a decent job at tumbling for me. VFDs are awesome...

I really enjoy your videos. I have no interest in restoring lathes and I do not have a mill. But I watched your entire videos on the lathe, the mill upgrade, and tramming the mill. And this tumbler is awesome. I might have to do that. I do not do much stone washing, but I just throw the knife in a powerade bottle, wrap in a towel, and throw in the dryer with no heat. Works pretty well too.

No. We are a cow calf outfit so our "product" is a calf we sell at market when its weaned. I use Wicket and Craig and Herman Oak leathers for sheaths, holsters etc.

Awesome.

I have shortened a few fingers along the way as well.
