What extremes have you gone to to hide new INFI from your significant other?

I don't hide any blades from my wife. Sharing the amazingness of the blades with my wife is a big part of the fun. I dont see all colors that well so she helps me pick out color combinations, as with the BATAC. I just don't dwell on the prices and besides, I tell her," all my knives have been gifts from friends and family. You know, as I have said before, birthday, graduation, retirement, and many other celebrations are more than appropriate occassions for friends and family to contribute to my infi addiction." I have confessed that sometimes I have to chip in' just a little' to pay for some of the more expensive pieces. That would explain why we are eating only pasta this month. So why should ny wife be unhappy when I have never had to spend any real money on knives.

I have to admit I'm a big fan of helping to pick colour combinations even though it takes me forever because it's so hard to choose a favourite (and I usually end up cheating a little by trying to get a feel for his preference and then copying him... but shhhh hehe).
