They've answered for me and I agree! The KSF is the more affordable deal. I find a pocket sheath for the Pygmy and Runt to be more desirable and useful than a belt sheath.

Hiking by the Chattahoochee today (Powers Island unit). A pretty big tree had fallen down into the river so I walked about halfway out on the trunk.

Got this jigged bone Pygmy today... I think the thinness makes it unique .. deserves/requires special leather... maybe a wallet with a sheath on outside... dunno

Wow heesoo - i haven't seen scales that thin on a fiddleback. Do you like one better than the other (or are they just different)? Would love to get my hands on a runt w/ thinner scales to feel the difference. Great comparison pic of the spines.

It's just different ... has a utility knife feel to it... perfect for pocket carry of small tasks like breaking down boxes the Fiddleback's come in

That's a beautiful Esquire, NoRest. I love the swedge. What's the color on the micarta? Black? Gray? Thanks to Heesoo, an Esquire is zooming toward me as we speak.

It's OD green with natural liners and white pinstripes.
