Peter’s Mountain Jefferson National Forest. Cabin is about a mile down the ridge from Hanging Rock Observatory. When we’re not in the clouds I can see the Allegheny trail from the porch. Ice hit everything over 3K(we are just below 3.9K). We’re listening to trees fall now as the wind has picked up.
 
My trusty Hiking Buddy. I don't really take care of this one. I just use it and sharpen when needed. I should probably put some blade wax or something on it but I probably won't. My handle is always real faded looking like I leave it out in the sun cooking. For being a simple design this thing just feels so good in the hand. Probably my favorite feeling FF handle that I have which isn't that many. I know there are other models in this family with the same handle profile I think but not sure.

This one, in an awesome sheath Justen made for me for another Fiddleback a few years ago. But the story of it will have to be told when I have more time...this is the busiest time of my year, work and family wise. My brain is mush at the moment
