What folder do you hogs and piglets carry?

Hi Doug. :barf:
NOT chisel, Asymmetrical! close to chisel though. :)
RED G-10.

Most common in the rotation? CRK Large Classic Sebenza, Rat Trap and a Spyderco Jess Horn ZDP-189.

Just an old spyderco police i got about 20 yrs ago in black ti. If i can ever stop buying Infi long enough i'd like to get a hinderer or strider.
Lycosa that red and black g-10 is my fav also.

Spyderco makes a heck of a knife.
I just canceled my Strider order. I don't need All-That knife.

Yeah i like it because its so flat and you don't really notice it. Alot of folders are way too bulky in your pocket. You just can't be prying and stuff like that because the tip is pretty thin. But if i'm going to the woods or doing outdoors stuff i'll carry something alittle more hefty.

Yup. Now I like light, flat and tough.
If I need tougher, I go fixed blade.

Because of their general utility, a Victorinox SAK Black Huntsman around town and the new Victorinox OD Soldier in the woods and garden. I don't worry about losing them because they're reasonably inexpensive and easy to replace. They're relatively small and easy to carry. But best of all, they give me a good reason to carry one of my favorite Busse fixed blade EDCs like a GW, AD, BOSS Street, or SAR!

What squeal talk? I carried a Spyderco - the Endura, Delica, or Wegner model for years - they just never held up to use. After my ex-son-in-law ruined the Wegner, I went looking for a tough, reliable EDC-size fixed blade, discovered Busse and have never looked back.

Lately it's been my newly acquired 2007 Emerscon CQC7A plain edge. I rotate it with my Camillus CUDA Arclite if I need something smaller or Camillus CUDA Maxx if i need something bigger:D Today, I'm carrying the Emerson and my Cultie in my front pocket, where my 3/16" Rat Shaker I or my Swamp Warden usually rides.

When you cant edc a Busse, what folders do you guys enjoy carrying? :D

My usual set up would be a Buck 305 Lancer and a Vic Field Master to go along with a Busse AD.

When I'm not carrying the AD I go with either a LH Sebenza or one of the following. BM 975S LH, BM 710 in M2, Buck 882.

Since the arrival of the BF forum knife the Buck 305 has been benched and the Barlow has been getting some use, "love that knife". I'm also fond of the Case Copperlocks, reg. and mini. So they get time too.

Thanks a lot:mad:

Now I HAVE to get a Lochsa and an XM-18:D

(and a Busse folder IF it exists...I've seen pictures of Bigfoot, but have yeti to see one of the Busse Folder)

I carry a Strider SnG

Used to carry a Spyderco Military but
the tip bent after trying to clean a little paint from a screw hole.
too fragile for me.

I really wish Busse would come out with a folder.
I dont like "hoping" my knife will be OK.

I'll be carrying my Kershaw Volt and the Victorinox Solo for the next little while. The Volt is an extraordinary knife and slippies are just plain fun to use.

People may laugh at the lowly SAK, but a LOT of people carry one or keep one close by. SAKs may not be much of a "KNIFE" knife - but they ARE versatile, readily available, friendly or familiar enough that they don't frighten the general non-knife population, and the Swiss cross emblem works GREAT at scaring away vampires!
IMHO,
"Bloody Bill"

Work is not really knife friendly (we're supposed to use special 'safe' utility knives for any cutting), so my weekday EDC is usually an SAK Classic, or a Case Peanut. Weekend carry lately is a Benchmade Mini- Deja Voo. Sometimes I'll carry a Rick Menefee Sway Back Jack.

PPS. I'm sorry- wait a minute- I just went back and drooled, I mean, looked at those pics again- did you really say "One of my Lochsas"? I hate you! :D ;)

Have you not seen the pics that Lunde posted of visiting Scott's shop, showing the knives being made? Cool stuff.

Chris Reeves Mnandi w/ Damascus and Ironwood. I don't think I've owned a knife I haven't used, and this is no exception. It's a great office knife.
