what Becker coating? oh....u must be talking about the black Shipping-Wrap they come with. After u take it out of box and unwrap the Shipping protection, all Beckers ARE satin.

I cant help but notice the Case Sodbuster luv in this thread...kinda cool to see it's so many people's EDC, of all the brands/models out there, I think the Case SB has been mentioned most in this thread. Either Sodbuster or Sodbuster Jr.
