What folder? if 4 inches blade length is legal

I dont think carrying around an illegal knife is ever the smart thing to do. I wouldnt feel comfortable doing so because id know if it caught someones eye, i could be in crap.

Of course you have a point. I didn't mean I carry a monster (nothing more than 4-inches).

I think what can get a person into more trouble than blade length is certain features of a knife. Carrying a lockback knife regardless of blade length in jurisdictions where a lockback is illegal.

I sometimes carry either a Spyderco Endura or a Benchmade 720 both with blades over 3-inches but a bit less than 4-inches. I have a Spyderco Police but do not carry it as it's blade is over 4-inches which would be pushing it beyond my comfort level.

I will suggest the three I have the most experience with. Either a Spyderco Endura 4, Spyderco Tenacious, or a Blackhawk Be-Wharned.

Check out the BM 13100 Hardtail - 4" blade in D2.

I don't mind the Harley emblems as the knife is great.

I actually do carry my millie, i just wanted to know what you guys were thinking.

I switch back and forth between a BM710 in BM556 minigrip. For the logest tiem the 710 was my mainstay knife, but the more I use the mini grip the more I like it and it is taking over the 710 for EDC top position.

Not that this is on topic, but for the past 3 weeks I have been carrying my modified ( flattened handles to fit in pocket better, added deep-carry pocket clip) Ontario Retribution 1. This has a 4 5/8" blade and is 10.5" overall. Just carry it after work and on weekends. I added this just to say that as long as you act sensible, and are not one to get into trouble, AND you have a small slipjoint to use around sheeple, then I have found I have no problems with what I carry.

Spyderco Manix 2 if the law in your area doesn't call it a "gravity knife" or "switchblade". I love mine. It's very smooth and fast to flick open now that it's broken in. It's nice that the ball lock puts some tension on the blade to keep it closed in your pocket, but a little flick gets it past that point and it snaps right open. Easy one-hand close as well, just release the ball lock with the knife tilted up and the blade swings shut.
