What folders are the Beckerheads carrying?

I just picked up a thermite too. At first I wasn't a fan of the two different scales, and I would still prefer both scales be G10, but I'm actually amazed (and I'm not using the term lightly) at the quality of the knife. It's just as good as the knockout or piston and those knives are nearly twice the cost. But the blade steels are different so I guess that where the money goes. I rather like Kershaw's 8cr13mov. It holds and edge just fine for my uses and is easy to sharpen to a razor edge. And it's very inexpensive.

You really can't go wrong with Kershaw.

I love me some custom Thermite!

I have been carrying this almost 60 year old Camillus NY Stockman for the past few days to open gifts. It doesn't get the stares and glares that most of my other knives get.:D

I opened (other peoples' gifts, as we still have a lot more that are unopened) with an HK (Benchmade) Scorch auto and just challenged anybody to give me grief. Funny looks aplenty, but no commentary.

LOL. I like that. Maybe next year I'll do that with my Emerson Super CQC-8!

Currently working on my "Beckerhead" designation ;)

The only folder I carry is my wallet. It is a custom made leather wallet in black with red stitching by Hellbrand Leatherworks out of Orlando Florida.

Thanks for this Jared. I do not carry a folder either, although I do have a SAK I just added to my key chain. No worries, it will not ever replace the 24 or 14 I carry in my pocket or hip.

Have eyed those down several times, but never pulled the trigger. You like it?
I found one on the exchange for $90 and couldn't pass it up. So far I like it...I mean, I'm not really a big fan of knives that require 2 hands to open, and it is quite thick. But it comes with a lovely belt/pocket sheath. If I didn't have to worry about stuffing it into my un practical lady jeans, I would like it a lot more. If your pants are not painted on, or if you don't mind something on your belt, then you would enjoy it a lot I think. Well built, very solid, and beautiful.

The reason I never pulled the trigger, is for reasons you state. If I have to carry it on my belt, I may as well get the fixed blade version, and a bit too big for the pocket, me thinks. I still like it though.

Yeah, if I wear men's jeans, I don't have a problem putting it in my pocket...because men's jeans are usually looser, and have far more pocket space. I'm wearing pants today with normal pockets, and it's not bothering me any.

Hey Warrior, if you are familiar with the size of the Zancundo or BHK Woodsman (the other 2 knives in my pack) I could do a side by side size comparison for you. Or something else when I get home to my horded glory tonight.

Beautiful folder! If you want to post more pictures of this I would love to see them! I love Helle knives. The Dokka is on the list for sure.

If you ever want to part with it please let me know. Seriously...

Jeremy
