What folders are the Beckerheads carrying?

Me, too....well, not the dying part. But I keep looking at them, and then I start thinking that I have way too many knives already. Then I found a deal on a Piranha Pocket and got that instead. Autos are fun! Only wish I didn't have to visit our southern neighbor so often, where they're also illegal to carry....
 
So far I'm loving everything about the PM 2 except the clip. I've got a new deep carry ti clip on the way to solve that problem. The weight on this knife is very low compared to the somewhat heavy folders I usually carry. The balance is very nose heavy but when you move to a choil grip its more centered. Came razor sharp blade centering is perfect. Action is smooth enough to flick out the blade easy with your thumb. I'm impressed so far....but I still think I prefer my 0562. Something about that knife...

Picked up a PM2 yesterday at the Gun show here.



I also got this....and I could have never imagined this little knife was so damn awesome!!



Been carrying both of them today. First time in a while I couldn't figure out which "one" to carry so I took both. LOL

Please let me know how that works out. I have been considering deep carry clips.

tomorrow is the DPx and a sodbuster in 01 with maroon micarta scales.

I know this isnt a sale thread, but I do have a Nice Manix 2 in my sig. (I don't think that is against the rules, let me know and I will edit it out)
 
I want a PM2 and a DPX Heat. The PM2 is too big for me to carry, so no pressure. The Heat is too expensive for something I don't need, but I sure do like the design.

I really like my ontario rat model II. 3" aus-8 Taiwan. Very tight workmanship, no wobble. Fairly lightweight. Great value.

If you can't carry something that big for political reasons; my Spyderco ladybug stays on my keychain; use it all the time for small stuff.

Would love to try doug ritter folders now that they offer them in m390. Basically they are the benchmade knife with dougs more robust droppoint blade. Can get them in bright scale colors as well for visibility. A friend of mine has a benchmade sibert in m390. Scary sharp and holds that edge for a long time.
 
The ZT 0560 series already mentioned is a tough folder, American made, and at a good price.

I have a satin and a Blackwash version, and highly recommend them as well as an Emerson.

But the wave feature on an Emerson is really handy, as it allows easy and immediate one-handed operation. You can open them conventionally as well, and the F&F on the 2013-2014 models are unquestionable.
