I carry a Beretta 92FS Inox with some modifications to enhance function, durability, dependability, and reliability, as well as accuracy. It is set up for the left hand, as I am a southpaw. It is equipped with Hogue grips and I carry it in a black leather Galco Yaqui slide holster. It is loaded with a MecGar 20-round magazine filled with 115-grain Hornady Critical Defense hollowpoint ammunition. Along with it I carry a SureFire E2D-LED Executive Defender and a Spyderco Military with a serrated edge.
I also carry a Smith & Wesson Model 329PD .44 Magnum. Has anyone ever fired one of Smith & Wesson's ultralightweight-framed magnums? This wheelgun has a beastly recoil but it is inherently reliable and a pure fight stopper. Its super light weight and incredible fire power make it a nice package for the outdoors, or whenever it is otherwise appropriate. I carry two speed loaders along with it, as well as a SureFire E2L Outdoorsman and a Becker BK9 fixed blade, when I am in an outdoor setting. When carrying it as a concealed piece, I typically carry the same Military and E2D-LED that is with my Beretta. Can you say loose clothing?
