What handle material do you think has the best feeling in hand? How is that feeling?

I sometimes carry my M390 Dividend. As a thin tip-down flipper that's the right height with a deep carry clip, it's almost perfect for shirt, breast, and vest pockets. I say "almost" because I wish it had different scales. If I could find the right replacement with a different scale material, I'd retire my Dividend and be completely done with metal scales.

While it won't fit that role, I'm definitely interested in that Micarta Gemini.

Natural stag, with no doubt. It's magic...

I love stag and other antler type handles. But I don't think they are as comfortable in the hand as micarta overall if you are thinking pure utility. Never had a problem with stag durability. But I don't use my knives hard.

Neither do I... Stag is magic. But I love all kinds of wood, and horn, and bone... I suppose I'm just an addict to natural materials.

I personally think ebony feels so nice and comfortable when cutting food. The texture is smooth and delicate!
It gives a warm, classic, and traditional aspect to the knife!

(For the curious ones, I got mine at www.kotaikitchen.com, the Kiritsuke!)

The best grip on a knife I ever held was a Cultrotech fixed blade. It had a fully molded, seamless, contoured, wraparound Micarta handle.
