Glad she is doing better! Did the doctors actually find out what was wrong?

Pre-Orbital Celulitis, basically a bacteria infection in the tissue around the eye. We were fortunate because the infection was starting to get behind the eye (Orbital Celulitis), and that becomes more severe. We caught it in time to stave off surgery or any complications. Apparently her sinuses weren't draining properly and it was building up near the eye.

Having a glass of Four Roses Small Batch and playing Far Cry 3. Not a bad way to spend and cold Sunday afternoon!

Might do a bit of freehand sharpening later as well. Got some new water stones and I'm really enjoying the process. Have not done any real freehand sharpening since I was a kid in the early 80s. Nice to re-discover the old skills.

Im at the firehouse, so far it has been slow. Got a nap in now Im watching football and drinking tea.

Even better yet we have a big pot of beans cooking with a ham bone. Cornbread later.

I love football, but have really been to busy to watch much this season:grumpy:

I'm in the shop doing some heat threating today. My son decided to come out and hang out with me. I think he's got this relaxation thing figured out. He hung his moms hamock up and is playing games on his kindle fire he got for Christmas. Check him out!

I have heard REALLY good things about Django.

I like Quentin Tarentino's movies too.

I despise Leonardo dePUKErio, and never cared for Jamie faxx either, but after his "Obama is 'our' (his words) lord and savior" at the soul train awards, well...he can go pound sand up his dumb ass...

Got no use for the bag of shit.

My opinion...

Just prevented a pretty bad accident on my way home from work. I had just left my boss' place and was pulling off the gravel and onto the 65mph 2 lane highway and there were four horses trotting along headed west in the eastbound lane. Was gonna keep going as I had the phone in my hand calling the sheriff when I saw some lights coming. Figured I had better do something so I flipped my flashers on and backed up to the horses and started flashing my headlights. The pickup just barely got stopped before it got to the horses. The kids in the pickup stopped and rolled down their window to thank me and were on their way. If I had left work a minute sooner I probably wouldn't have seen the horses and a minute later and it probably would have been too late. A half ton chevy vs 4 horses woulda been a pretty horrible scene for sure.

Dude...awesome...good work, good on you..I'm proud to know ya...(as little as I do)...I will shake you hand if I ever meet you.

Doc
