Pre-Orbital Celulitis, basically a bacteria infection in the tissue around the eye. We were fortunate because the infection was starting to get behind the eye (Orbital Celulitis), and that becomes more severe. We caught it in time to stave off surgery or any complications. Apparently her sinuses weren't draining properly and it was building up near the eye.

Wow...glad you caught it, and she's doing better....

Thanks for the well wishes for my daughter everyone, now if I can cure this friggin' internet issue I've been having...

kydex works for the double-bevel. I had to soften the divots a bit. This is 0.090", which may be too thick - thought I'd grabbed a thin piece while I was rushing around this morning. It needs another hole, and then eyelets so it can do tek-lock, pocket, or keychain-carry. This size is too big for a keychain, honestly. But in 3/32" a tiny bit slimmer, it could work ok.
I cleaned up the bevel and sharpened it with a very slight micro-bevel. It was only a couple thou thick at the edge.

I despise Leonardo dePUKErio, and never cared for Jamie faxx either, but after his "Obama is 'our' (his words) lord and savior" at the soul train awards, well...he can go pound sand up his dumb ass...

Got no use for the bag of shit.

My opinion...

Doc

Dude...awesome...good work, good on you..I'm proud to know ya...(as little as I do)...I will shake you hand if I ever meet you.

Doc

It was kinda hokey..but I liked it too..

Doc, I don't know if you were to busy raging about Obama or just didn't know, but there's a little thing called "Multiquote". It's in the bottom right corner of each post, just next to the "reply with quote" button. It really helps if you're trying to reply to multiple people at once.

Way to go AC! Glad you thought fast and saved a few lives.

Nice hammock in the shop, Todd! Just did that in my basement for my son.

As for football, I'm hoping to see a Green Bay vs anyone Superbowl. :). Needless to say, I enjoyed last night's game.

Thanks for the info maethor.

I don't care for that style of reply. It seems impersonal to me. I like to reply to each poster indivdually. You reply as you see fit for your posts.

I really didn't see my post as a rage against Obama, but some people are really sensitive when you don't say anything that kisses his ass. Too bad you took it as such.

My point was against Jamie foxx, primarily, and Leonardo de..whatever as an actor in reply to the movie.

Todd, I just took some measurements:
It looks like the smaller snap size (that I'm now out of) will fit through a 7/16" hole - one bit larger than my chuck can handle (got bits). They are also just about 3/32" tall, so I'm guessing that with thinner stock, smaller snaps, and using a larger drill, the snap-through could be made to work very nicely.

Don't ya hate it when you almost have the right equipment to do what you want?

Did you consider a rotating sheath in kydex?... Kydex with a pivot through one of the holes...a one piece necker thing... Just a thought...

that's most of the time. :D
As usual, designing to your tools works best when it comes to manufacturing unless you need something radical...
Hey, an excuse to upgrade the drill press!

Sorry I've been away, my laptop decided that charging wasn't necessary for Christmas and New Years. Got some Rat 1 pr0n (will have BK pics soon-ish, kinda) for y'all who like it, and some food pics for those of you who appreciate all american cuisine. Excuse the tablet quality pics, used Mom's Toshiba Thrive.

On with the pr0n! (and cuisine)

Gonna be in hiding for about a week starting tomorrow, and then I should be back to normal.

(Note to K9: Sorry I wasn't able to make it to your place this trip, I'll shoot you an email later so we can discuss other details.)

(Note to mrn8: Thanks for the vinyls, they're awesome!)

Just got out of a restaurant. The fu**er behind us must have been pissed at something. He was yelling the whole damn time we were there. It was funny though after he got all pissy to the waitress she started avoiding him and his whole table which ment better service for us. :D

Welcome back oxcide. Poeple was startin to wonder about ya. Now, what did I spell wrong? ;)

Funny Todd, I found 4 spelling errors in his post just glancing at it...
