A cool feature on the Pocket Predator, is the attachment points Bill Hayes invented. It's made to shoot bands from the side, over the top, or tubes. The hand is pointing to a groove, that allows an arrow to sit in for a sling bow. Bill demonstrated this in one of his videos.

thats how the scout is kind of, but you have to make a cut yourself if you want to be able to put the tubes on quickly

Glad it worked out for you. I've had that one bookmarked for a spell. I'll probably end up with it to, haha.

Thanks man, id say grab it for sure, but then again i dont have much experience with these things. i do know i like it tho and think you will too.

exactly what is she cooking that is so expensive?

i mean, if you ate chicken, hotdogs, pickles, and yogurt that's "gluten-free" (barring wheat fillers)

Mostly processed food that has gluten substitues. Various types of bread, biscotti, pasta, cakes, cookies, canned and packaged goods. Since I do the grocery shopping, I have to read the labels on everything. You would be surprised at the amount of products that have gluten added to them. Some things, of course are naturally gluten free.

Pretty much the same here. Why it became corn heavy was that she wanted substitutes for breads and such. Soy is in so many things, it's not even funny. Now we are at a point where we are really heavy on beef, fish, and deer, then have fresh veg and beans for variety. Homemade yogurt and sauerkraut is great for your gut and naturally gluten free.

Just got my SS in. Here it is compared to the Pocket Predator. Really cool little item:

On a side note, I picked up this little "spork" for my wife. I was looking for something smallish for her backpacking espresso kit:

Dubz, PM me the info on that spork please! My cousin and I both want to check it out.

No kidding. Makes me sick what has been stolen.

Tbilly almost had my BK10 to make a sheath for it, but for whatever reason I hesitated.
Be glad you did... He had mine, but I got it back. Granted it was when he showed up at the gathering, and even then, I had to bug him for it for a while.
Good lord, that guy is amazing.
DAMN!

So this morning I went to hang out with the Major on the shooting range. We had a couple of goodies to shoot at that were pretty fun. First up was a chunk of 3" thick bullet proof glass the Major had gotten ahold of way back when. Unfortunately didn't snag any pics of that, but it was cool to shoot at. We hit it with 9mm rounds and then popped off a few from his Mosin Nagent at it (which went through it). Then he busted out a chunk of ballistic panel from some body armor that we hit with the 9mm hollow points (Hornady Zombie Max) and then a slug from a 410, then a PDX round from the 410. Here are some of the pics.

Then, later, in a completely unrelated event, I got bored, and having recently refound my American Kami spork, I decided it might benefit from some handles. Enjoy.

I'm finding myself interested in these high precision sling shots. I never knew such things existed. A far cry from the thing I had as a kid that we shot rocks out of. My dad bought one for my boy not long ago. But it was pretty much the same as I had as a boy. You guys got some links for detailed info? What do they shoot out of them for best accuracy?

Sweet spork.

I love reading the tags on those armor panels. "Failure to insert the ballistic protection panel in the ballistic protection outershell will result in an absence of ballistic protection."

Really, I have to wear my body armor in order for it to work?

You do? uh oh...that and I love how on Airsoft websites and stuff the make sure to disclaim that the plate carriers and vests that they have "offer no ballistic protection" I wonder what dumbass caused that disclaimer.
