What happened to Thomas?

Yah, I just noticed that. He's also now just a "Registered User". I have no idea what happend....Dang, I hope that Thomas & Kershaw haven't "parted company" or anything like that...Maybe he just wants/needs to take a break from moderating for awhile..

I sure hope he's ok.:).

I think it has more to do with some idiot remarks made by other BF members on another thread in the General/Knife reviews sections. Kershaw would be crazy to let Thomas go. But if Thomas leaves Bladeforums, I go with him.

Thomas probably needed some time away from the BF, as we all do from time to time.

I hope everything is OK.

I know he was getting stressed in a thread in Knife Reviews & Testing
but I guess I missed the General thread.

He's been a great part of this community and I hope it will be continuing.

How the hell else would we know when something new is coming out?

edit. pre-post.

I searched in General to find the thread before I replied in this one.
Between these 2 threads, I would have left too. Some people are just ....
Why can't this be moved to W&C?

arrgh!!!!!

I've wondered what happened also,.....as i PM'd him about 5 days ago and gotten no response. Hope all is well with him...........................

I didn't name names of anyone but I went to W&C and bitched because I'm really pissed at these people. About 25 in all. Threads all over the place of
people just trolling to get a rise out of someone. Or have stupid comments

Since those of us that have Membership status have the capability to "select" our membership levels in the User Control Panel; do Mods have the same capability? He was a mod as of 7 AM CST today...

I hope he makes his way back here, his presence is truly a benefit to all of us. It's very apparent how much he cares for his company and their products because of how folks can get under his skin. It's a matter of fact that one cannot make everyone happy, all the time. Kershaw makes awesome products, and their new blades continue to be innovative; I hope he realizes how much that his presence here is appreciated because we appreciate his level of contact with us!

Best of luck, Thomas. :(

I just read "the thread"...I don't blame Coach for unplugging for a while...he deserves better.

Come back when you're ready, Coach...

Amen to that.

Thomas, Take a few deep breaths, drink a few beers and comeback when you are good and damn ready. We'll still be here. Have a nice evening.

i have to agree with Jeremy. Thomas, in case your "listening", just a reminder. We are your "Kershaw family". We all consider you to be a friend. As others have said, take your time, let off some steam. My suggestion? Get with Tim and make the most awsome Kershaw ever! A Welk/Galyean design!

Good luck and come back soon!

Put me down for 2 of 'em.:D

He'll be back. Probably cooling off dealin' with those jerks. I started reading the post and could not take it myself.... what a pile of *&^#

Thomas contributes quite a bit of his own time here to help promote Kershaw, fix problems, interact with us, and get feedback, this is time he could be spending with his family, or relaxing, or making sure retailers have Kershaws so we can buy them. So when he ends up interacting with someone who doesn't get it, or is obstinate, or attacks him (or his company), he (rightfully) questions whether or not the forum is a worthwhile use of his time.

I feel that his time here is invaluable, and it is pretty clear that many others feel this way as well.

Thomas, I look forward to seeing your name back up in red. When you are ready, of course.

Tim just posted in that one thread. Hope it is cleared up now.

This is like my second family.
I love coming in here and talking about knives. No matter who makes them.
