What happens to your knives...

....... Remember Lotus spread sheets...

Yep, My first spreadsheet program, at one time it was the defacto program..... now, there are MANY folks who've never heard of it. That's why I suggest using something like LibreOffice saved in a generic format like .csv so anything should open it. Perhaps save one ins excel, access, as well as an open format.

I'm only 22, so I don't normally think about these sorts of things, but honestly as much as I love my knives, they're just pieces of metal and plastic. I don't really care what happens to stuff like that when I go. If all they're good for is getting somebody out of a financial bind one day that's fine. I just hope they do a little research and sell them for a good price, because if, God willing, I live to be 80+ I bet some of my high end stuff (Busse, CRK, ZT, etc.) may be worth quite a bit by then.

My dad just recently passed and that is why I am on this forum. I inherited his knife collection. I wish he had left me an inventory of what he had. It has been a huge process and I have a massive learning curve to overcome to educate myself. I know more about knives than I did a month ago. I have been lurking, reading and educating myself on what he has. He has quite a diverse collection so I am still sorting thru all of them. I couldn't imagine not having his knifes, they were such a huge part of him. He loved guns, knives, hunting and fishing oh and cowboy boots. LOL

I have to sell them somehow before I go to the mothership.... my grandson said he was going to give them to his dad (my son in law) who is loco for electronics.I literally start to sweat when I think of my Krein k9 dingo being sold to finance a flat screen or video games

I think everyone should have advanced directives. I have some funds set aside for burn my body and pay for those cost, and some family could use my car and Harley, but the rest of my stuff gets left to my dog. I'm actually not kidding
