What I like in the 2015 Catalog

I have been drooling over the 2015 catalog. The first thing that caught my eye was the promised purple Dragonfly. I also like the new Ti Pingo. I am on the fence about the Damascus Ti Endura. The new stepped Titanium Blue Chaparral looks great. I wish I could justify the expense.

What about you folks? What do you like?

Im in for a brown g10 zdp stretch. The stepped chapparal is one I may save up for. Other than that not too much peaked my interest. The sprints were fewer than I expected.

New Stretch, sprint PPT, Urban, and sprint Ti ELMAX Squeak. I bought a pink Squeak for my wife and dyed it purple and it is Spyderco's best little knife imo.

I'll be picking up the PITS, Foundry, and Pingo ti.
Nice line up for 2015.

I am really liking the brown G-10 Stretch as well. Does anyone know an approximate release date? I did the Google search but didn't have much luck.

The Pingo Ti looks good, but the Squeak Ti might be a good choice if the back spring is stiff enough. My FRN model is a bit weak for my taste but my Pingo is perfect.

Of the new offerings, I really like the all black waved Matriarch and ,to a lesser extent, the fixed blade Reverse. I see there's no folding Warrior in the catalog. At one time Glesser posted that he was considering offering a folding version so I hope it's still to come.

Some of the fixed blades look interesting. Not feeling any of the folders this year.

The Ronin 2 looks to be it for me so far.

Maybe a Native 5 Lightweight and a Manix 2 Lightweight CPM S110V later, even though they came out before the 2015 catalog.

There are many fixed blade knives that caught my eyes (Reverse, Ronin and Aqua Salt).
And I'm pretty excited about the Janisong; I was interested in it since it was produced by Blackhawk but never bought one.

sprint PPT

Wow, really excited about this one. I got into Fred Perrin's designs too late and have been after a NIB PPT for a while.

Anyone know where this will be made?

It's not a Spyderco, but Emerson's CQC-8 has a very similar profile to the Echanis/Taylor/Wanner Warrior. Sorry if this was known already, it was news to me but quite obvious after holding both in the hand ;)
