What Inexpensive (Cheap) knife do you really like?

I have a Richards scout knife with fake mop. its real light and seems cheap as heck but i just keep using and using it all the time. think i gave five bucks for it 3 years ago. I got it cause it was made in england.

Cold Steel Pocket Bushman, it's my bumming around EDC (when not in the office) and I'm a huge fan :D

I will name a couple of them that come to mind as in inexpensive but very well made. Kershaw Lahar, CRKT Apache in ats34,(you can still find them on occassion on ebay) Boker M Type and the CRKT Falcon lg. These are 3 very superior folders that can be had for the most part for less than 50 bucks shipped. keepem sharp

Schrade Old Timer Middleman. One of the old original Schrade models, with carbon steel blades. I bought it for something like $10.00 at Walmart. I convexed the edges and polished them to a wicked hair splitting edge. Awesome little stockman.

I have grown very fond of my Rough Rider Copperhead. great knife. I think I paid around $8.00 for mine. The K-Bar Dozier is an excellent value, too, at around $20.00.

Opinel!!

I've been buying a few closeout SAKs lately too, sub-$10. Thrilled with the quality of each one so far.

After seeing the one in Baba's sig line, I picked up one of the small German Bull stag sodbusters on ebay for $37 incl. shipping. Nice, good looking little knife for the money.

ElectrikHellfire mentioned it above, but I've gotta agree that the Browning Ice Storm is a great inexpensive knife. Easily found for $40 or less and has great ergonomics and blade steel. Mcusta makes them.

I always thought the Kershaw Cyclone was a great value along with the Browning Ice Storm

-Opinel knives. With a design that dates back over a hundred years, what's not to love?
-Douk-Douks. They take a razor sharp edge and have Fred Perrin praising them.

I figured someone would beat me to bringing these two French blades up. The duok-douk is probably my very favourite knife, folder or otherwise, because of the slim form factor, the stiff spring, the grind, and aesthetic touches like the Turkish clip and engraving... has a pseudo 19th century feel to it.

The Opinel's beech handles are practically the definition of comfort. Also very customization-friendly. A female friend has one that has been sharpened so often, when closed completely the nail nick was no longer accessible. A little whittling and sanding of the handle, and problem sovled!
