What Inexpensive (Cheap) knife do you really like?

One of my favourite knives is the Byrd Robin with G10 scales. Whenever there's a hard/dirty job to be done around the house, that's the one I pick up so I don't risk damaging the edge on my EDC or more expensive blades.

Best of all the price; FREE. It was a gift from Spyderco :)

Alox SAK Soldier. I don't think of it as 'cheap' but rather one that I can easily replace if I lose. It's the one I grab most often.

Mora's and opinels. They are great knives for the money.

This. My favorites are Mora 1 and Opinel 8. Actually, they are up there on my list of favorite knives of all time. Mora 1 might be my favorite fixed blade.

Might want to stockpile them. The new Soldier model is dethroning the old. They're doing a final production run this year, and then no more.

Rough Rider folders. I have several and there's always one in my pocket. I get them online for under $8 delivered. They really are well-made knives with decent steel. I wouldn't try to break or lose one, but if I do, no big deal.

RR also makes the Marbles folders like that Sunfish of the OP, I think I have 7 of them, each one purchased from $7.51-14.00 delivered.

I also choose Mora knives, but since I tend to use a slippie a couple times each day, I think that Mora knives take second place.

I have a few that I feel this way about. One is a Frost hawkbill lockblade that is almost as sharp on the spine as the edge is. :p

However, I DEFINITELY have some Rough Riders on my list. One in particular but I'm not tellin' ya'll 'cuz it's out of stock and I don't want ya'll to be jumpin in front of me when it's stocked again. :D

I've been carrying a RR 3 blade white bone handled whittler. I've used it for a lot of cutting. Good blade steel. Takes and holds an edge. So what if it's inexpensive and made in China. I'm happy with it. :D

The entire Spyderco Byrd line. I think that the Cara Cara could compete nicely at three times it's price.

I personally think the Cold Steel bushman and the their kukri machete is hella good for the money. Their machetes are cheap and are virtually indestructible.

As for multi-tools I will never buy a leatherman no matter how cheap they are, I buy Gerber instead. 2003 I was in Iraq and we had many marine who had on them leathermans and many with gerbers and in the end virtually all leathermans locking mechanism failed under pressure and it hurts like hell when it fails and crushes your fingers. As for Gerber, they were able to do some really heavy work without failing and I did not see a single Gerber that broke compared to half a dozen failed leathermans.

My first dips into folder knives.

The Gerber now lives in my kitchen drawer and the Byrd nests in my briefcase as an EDC backup.
