What is an INFI HOG ?

Well now I know. It was a little scary reading the different degrees of being a HOG. I know, Maybe Jerry could make belt buckles out of infi with your level of Hogdom inscribed on the front to avoid any confusion. I think I may have worked up to Pig.

Hey wait a min.... Doouuhh

Hey Progunner, why kind of Utilikilt do you have? I have a carmel workmans. No need to fetch more beer when wearing that one, it holds a six pack... So thats a least three guys here who have them, Progunner, EdwardB and myself... we are taking over! Rock on all you kilted Hogs and/or Piglets!

And here I am, a mere participant, grazing the left overs and the got to sell right nows.

Buying mainly as gifts for others, less than 10 a year,,,as far as any of you know.

I eat, I sleep, I swim,,,,I buy little Busse's(mostly)

I have cut way back, I just gave away four to six a year the last two years.

Only two so far this year,,,I think.

Years where I gave away twenty-plus, were rather costly.

I will likely give a couple more N.I.C.Ks in the next year, and a few more Skel Keys.

I may take a few Busse knives to other makers to "Trick out" a bit.

I'm glad there are still some people out there giving away quality knives and not some "Made in Pakistan" knives ;)

After out-hogging the other uber swines and trampling the piglets in last weeks eBay auction, the only way you could get a piglet buckle is if you stole Peter La's.

As the mailman said: "Wow! who would pay that much for a knife."

CONGRATULATIONS! UBER MEGA HOG!

Hey, I am not above stealing Peter's "PIGLET" buckle, as long as it distracts folks while I am at the trough. :)

UBER MEGA HOG?!?!?!?! I think you give me far too much credit Wendell, besides that would take up way too much room on a belt buckle, I'd look like a rodeo champ with that thing on. :)

P.S. I have to go the the P.O. before heading back to work, it seems there is a Dang package waiting for me there. ;):D

Thanks KAAK and Nemmy, to you gents I say Bite me. :D I got the FSH variant byt the way. Very cool stuff, I really didn't handle then much at Blade, but it is an impressive blade. now all I need is my HOGFSH and I'll have 4 FSH blades! :D

LMAO :) Sorry man, it was the Hog part of me coming out for a second.

After seeing the last batch of LE pics I'm dying to get mine. Looks like one sweeta** knife!

How long does it usually, on average, take to proggress from piglet to HOG?

There is no set timeline, many factors go into moving up in status. Could be a year, three years, or never.

I was in the first wave in 2003 when Oink was first formed. Started collecting Busses and posting on this forum in 2000 (holy crap, five years already!).

It wouldn't be right to say it took me three years since there was no OINK to work towards during those years.

Thanks for the info. :)

I realize that collecting Busses is only a small part of becoming a HOG, but may I ask how many pieces you had when you were inducted?
